Center School District is a fully accredited pre-kindergarten through 12th grade district located in the southern part of Kansas City. The District has a full range of academic programs designed to prepare students for continued education at colleges, universities, and technical schools as well as post high school employment. The district embraces the cultural diversity of its student population as a way of enriching their experiences and better preparing them for success in the world in which they will live and work. Although the district is located in Kansas City, its student population of 2500 and the small class sizes provide an urban environment with many of the advantages of a small community. The updated class rooms of the Center District all include SMART Board technology. This 21st century instructional tool provides our talented teaching staff with exciting possibilities to enhance students’ educational experiences. Almost 60% of Center teachers hold a Master’s degree or higher. Center High School carries an A+ designation by the state providing Center graduates who choose to attend community colleges with some financial resources.

Center School District selected AllofE’s WISE IEP system to manage and track their individualized evaluation process for students. AllofE IEP management system is extremely user friendly because it was designed by teachers and administrators within the IEP program. The intuitive interface walks the user through the entire IEP creation and management process ensuring that all state and district information requirements are met. Our Solution

WISE IEP managed and tracked all information, forms, and reports for K-12 individual evaluation programs. The system simplified the complex IEP process by keeping track of the data submitted and the data that was still required. It tracked multiple IEP’s for each student along with their goals, baselines, and benchmarks. WISE IEP served as a district-wide, web based solution to easily track IEP’s for all schools within the district.

Effects

With built-in logic that linked each student’s special considerations to required forms such as transition service needs, group evaluations, etc., IEP managers no longer had to hunt for which forms were and were not required. WISE IEP tracks all student IEP’s and information through one centralized system. It ensured that all required information was included for each student and allowed the teacher to quickly print IEP’s and progress reports. Information was consistently organized and could be copied over from one year to another.
