The Challenge
Yale School of Medicine needed a system to manage and generate the Medical Student Performance Evaluation Letter (MSPE) and support their existing format, process, and workflow. The Solution
In 2018, Yale School of Medicine implemented eMedley’s MSPE Generator to automate and streamline their MSPE.- Student CV – MSPE template that pulls content from a student managed CV.
- Noteworthy Characteristics – Students are able to enter their own Noteworthy Characteristics for review and inclusion in the MSPE.
- Pre-Loaded Default Text – Ability to manage default text components and then customize each MSPE to the student.
- Clinical Performance – Clinical clerkship dates, grades, and comments are imported in and managed for inclusion in the MSPE.
- Customized Template – Letter template customized with Yale School of Medicine letterhead and signature.
- Data Imports – Student, clerkship, course, schedule data easily imported into eMedley to be included in the MSPE.
- Change Lock – Ability to lock finalized MSPE’s when no further edits are allowed.
- Workflow – Customized change tracking and workflow permissions to match Yale’s existing process.
