Solution
Due to our experience in enterprise content management systems, the county selected AllofE to build a custom web content management system. Designers incorporated desired functionality and look and feel requirements into a completely new site layout. Developers built a custom content management system that allowed the county to quickly and easily update site content. They developed custom modules for meeting agendas and minutes that allowed the county to create pages that automatically were incorporated into searches and dropdown quick links. The system was completed within 3 weeks from project initiation.
Effect
With this customized Content Management System, Wyandotte County benefited from one centralized site management interface; user friendly functionality so that anyone can update the content; and custom modules to manage meeting agendas and minutes. The new system provided the county with a tool to quickly and easily manage site content and automatically generate menu structures, searches, and other navigation features.
