The Challenge
They needed an easy way to track documents and requirements of the clinical sites they work with. They wanted to streamline the process of scheduling students at sites. They needed to automate correspondence with clinical sites to maintain relationships and easily request affiliations from year to year. They wanted to ensure that students were prepared with all documentation and requirements before sending out to work at a site.
The Solution
eKeeper helps PT programs manage and track students, sites, SCCE (Site Coordinator of Clinical Education), and clinical instructors. eMedley creates efficiency by centralizing requirements documents, site notes, site evaluations, and affiliation agreements.
eduSched’s schedule planner automates placements of students at sites and allows administrators to track how many students each clinical site will take for a period. Pacific University PT implemented color coded tracking for Inpatient, Outpatient, Neuro, Pediatric, Acute, Geriatrics, and Ortho experiences.
eCLAS allows students to enter time and skill logs so that PT programs can track the amount of hands on experience students are getting in the clinical education setting. Dashboards aggregate the data based on setting type, patient demographics, clinical site, student, and type of experience.
With eValuate, PT programs can automatically send Clinical Site and Instructor evaluations to students at the end of their experience term. eMedley adjusts evaluation assignment as schedules are updated and automatically sends reminders to students until the evaluations are complete.
